Support / Partner

SnowLab Athlete Project is building a founding base of community supporters, partners, sponsors, donors, and service providers who want to help reduce barriers and create opportunity in snow sport development.

Support for SLAP helps strengthen athlete access, facility sustainability, and the long-term future of off-snow athlete development infrastructure in Calgary.

Partnerships may include financial sponsorship, in-kind contributions, service-provider benefits, equipment support, facility improvement support, athlete access funding, or project-specific support.

Ways to Support

There are several ways individuals, businesses, and community organizations can support SnowLab Athlete Project.

Community Support may include donations, in-kind contributions, equipment support, or general nonprofit support.

Supporting Partners may provide member benefits, service discounts, professional support, or other value to SLAP members and athletes.

Program Partners may support specific athlete access initiatives, community programs, camps, collaborations, or development opportunities.

Project Partners may support defined facility or infrastructure projects such as equipment upgrades, digital enhancement, facility improvements, or athlete access initiatives.

Official Partners may provide larger-scale financial, service, or in-kind support connected to SLAP’s broader nonprofit priorities.

Founding Partners help lay the foundation for SLAP and support the long-term viability of athlete development infrastructure in Calgary.

Current Priorities

SLAP is currently focused on building support around several practical priorities that directly strengthen athlete access, facility sustainability, and long-term community impact.

Current support priorities include:

  • Athlete access initiatives
  • Facility improvement projects
  • Equipment maintenance and upgrades
  • The Spot YYC operational sustainability
  • Digital enhancement and delayed replay infrastructure
  • Therapy, recovery, and athlete support space development
  • Community programming and lower-barrier participation opportunities
  • Partnership and sponsorship development
Project-Based Support

Project-based support allows partners, sponsors, donors, and community organizations to connect their contribution to a defined area of impact.

Examples of project-based support may include facility upgrades, equipment support, athlete access funding, digital enhancement, recovery space development, or specific community programming initiatives.

This approach helps SLAP align support with clear priorities while giving partners and donors a more direct understanding of how their contribution helps.
